Madill School Paws for Peace is organizing a school/ community walk during the Marshall County Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, Dec 14th at 6pm. The theme of the parade is "Marshall County Lights the Way." The Paws for Peace group is walking with the theme "Light up the World with Random Acts of Kindness." The theme ties into the school's bullying prevention program, Rachel's Challenge. The walk is also intended to inspire a commitment to healthier living as part of the school's Healthy School initiative. All school and community members are invited to join in the walk during the parade. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Neon yellow "PAWS for PEACE" shirts will be worn for the peace/ fitness walk and are currently on sale at all school sites through Tues, Nov. 5th. For more information or to sign up for the peace/ fitness walk, contact Madill School Director of Guidance and Counseling, Joanna Tuck at 795-3303
