Madill Public School is a PK-12 independent school district in Madill, Oklahoma, the county seat of Marshall County. Our 1,800+ students are housed in two elementary (PK-5) buildings, one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12). The District is small enough for us to know our students and large enough to provide exciting opportunities for staff and students. Teachers, parents, and administrators operate on a continual school improvement process. Site level teams identify indicators of student success and areas which need attention. Plans are continually monitored and revised to correspond to student needs. All teachers are highly qualified and receive intensive, ongoing staff development training to keep up with best teaching practices. Classrooms are equipped with modern technologies and research-based educational programs. The district provides accelerated classes, honors classes, remedial classes, an inclusive special education environment, alternative school, School to Work initiatives, athletics, and a variety of clubs and after school activities. As a 21st Century School, the district provides remediation, tutoring, homework assistance, acceleration, enrichment, family literacy, ELL classes for students and adults, civic and community service learning programs, health, nutrition and fitness, counseling services and recreational activities outside regular school hours. As a Certified Healthy School, the district actively promotes healthy living practices. Through Advanced Placement and GEAR UP programs, we provide our students intensive preparation for college, vocational school or the work force.
