A district-wide curriculum is now available for review at the administrative building. The curriculum guides for each site include PASS objectives, Core Curriculum objectives and SIDE BY SIDE objectives that will help teachers begin making the transition to Core Curriculum which is to be implemented by the year 2014, the same year students will be asked open ended questions on end of year testing that will require written responses reflecting higher order thinking skills. The District Wide Curriculum Guides, which will help keep teachers focused on required learner objectives, are a vital component of our School Improvement process.
