Activities Continue at MHS Through Summer Months

Activity continues through the summer months at Madill High School. Summer Pride, a conditioning program for athletes, began June 11 (Monday). It continues until July 20. The schedule for the program includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and begins at 7:30 a.m. each day at the football field house. Basketball camps continue at least through June 20 at Kingston.  A football team meeting has been set for 8 p.m. on Aug. 5 and a parent meeting is 7 p.m. on Aug. 6. Two-a-day practices begin Aug. 7. The first day of football practice with shoulder pads is Aug. 10. An inter-squad scrimmage is set for 10 a.m. on Aug. 11. A football scrimmage with Broken Bow will be Aug. 17. Football picture day is set for 9 a.m. on Aug. 18 and then school begins Aug. 20.
