'Cats Chalk Up Wild Win on Diamond over Tishomingo Monday

Tishomingo made it it interesting, however, Madill put the finishing touches on a 16-9 baseball victory over the Indians Monday evening in Madill. With the score tied 1-1 in the bottom of the second inning, senior Wildcat outfielder Hunter Chapa belted a three-run double to center to grant the 'Cats a 4-1 advantage. Later in the fourth inning, freshman second baseman Taber Bagley ripped a single to right-center that scored Garrett Brannan and gave the Wildcats a 6-5 lead. Jonathan Sutherland singled later in the bottom of the fith to break a 6-6 tie. The Wildcats held an 8-6 edge at that point. The pitching duties were shared by Paten Bond, Jonathan Sutherland and Corbin Larason.
