Madill moved to a perfect 6-0 on the year with a 41-13 spanking of Dickson Friday night at Alumni Field on Homecoming. The Wildcats built a 27-0 lead by the half and cruised in the second half to stay unbeaten in District 3A-4 action. Madill got on the board first with a 7-yard touchdown run by Paten Bond and Edgar Salinas' point after to give the 'Cats a 7-0 edge. Bond sored his second TD of the night on a 1-yard plunge with 11:58 to play in the second frame. Madill scored less than three minutes later when Gereall Jordan took a pass 59 yards for the TD at the 9:10 mark of the second. Baeli Benton booted the extra point to put Madill ahead 21-0. Junior receiver Joe Avery caught an 11-yard TD pass from Bond with 21 seconds left in the first half. Madill opened the second half with a methodical march to the end zone on a drive that melted almost five minutes off the clock. The drive was capped on Bond's 8-yard scoring jaunt to paydirt at the 7:15 mark of the third.
Dickson threw a 10-yard TD pass to Brent Shelton to get on the board in the third quarter to make it 34-7. Bond later scored on a 9-yard run to put Madill in front 41-7. The Comets scored on a TD pass to Shelton with no time left on the clock for the final score of the evening.
