The Madill boys basketball team snuffed out a late rally by Plainview to post a 62-51 victory in the final regular season contest Tuesday night on the road.  Corbin Larason and Taber Bagley combined to sink four free throws in the closing 29 seconds of the game to help salt away the win. Dylan Gilmore went three-for-three from beyond the arc and finished with 12 points. Raygan Dodd led in scoring Tuesday with a team - high 21 points on the evening. The second quarter  is where Madill outscored the Indians 14-5 for a 32-18 cushion at halftime. Madill had a 42-31 edge by the end of the third quarter. The Wildcats charged out to an 18-13 lead by the end of the first stanza.
The girls were paced by Kaitlyn Jones' dozen points in the loss to a one-loss Lady Indians club that's ranked in the top five teams of Class 4A.
