Clinton Trips up 'Cats in Double-Overtime Friday, Madill Soccer Season Officially Ends

A goal by Clinton's Jevin Jefferson with 5:45 remaining in the second overtime ousted Madill from the playoffs at Alumni Field Friday night. The final was 2-1. Madill took the lead with an early goal in the opening half of regulation play with by Carlos Torres and led by the same score at the halftime break. Clinton's Jimmy Adams equalized the score in the second half at 1-1.  Neither team could score in the first extra session.
