Eight MHS Speech Students Finish in Top Three of Marlow Competition Saturday

According to speech sponsor Lori Hartin, nine entries of the Madill speech team qualified for regionals through the Marlow event Saturday. Dallas Wills won first place in prose. Roxey Avila took second place in standard oratory. Becca Pugh grabbed second place in monologue. Joseph Tuck earned third place in humorous interpretation. Pugh finished third in poetry. Chancey Pearson reached third place in original oratory. Samantha Awalt finished third in monologue. Jeremy Crowley and Blake Gambel combined for third place in humorous duet. The speech sponsors are Hartin and Joanna Tuck. Hartin said the team did really well.
