Nicole Erwin has been chosen as the teacher of the month at Madill High. "She is very, very up-to-date on the most current curriculum," MHS principal Andy Gower said of Erwin. "When you step in her classroom you better be ready to go to work." Gower pointed to Erwin's command of the classroom and encouraging students to achieve at the highest level as to reasons she was chosen for the honor in March. Senior Lane Chapman received the student of the month honor for MHS in March "He's doing a great job for us in the classroom," Gower said of Chapman. "He's a real integral part of our vocational agricultural or FFA program." Gower commended Chapman on his leadership skills and academic prowess. Erwin earned a Wildcat watch for the honor and Chapman was presented a plaque by Madill superintendent Jon Tuck. These were also featured in the Wildcat Spotlight program prepared at Wildcat Studios on the MHS campus. |
