Madill used the first half of Friday night's regular season opener to stretch its advantage on Bridge Creek and eventually cruised to a decisive 38-16 win over the Bobcats. All the Wildcats' points came in the opening half. Senior quarterback Raygan Dodd scored on a four-yard run with 10:26 in the first and Dekevis Jordan tacked on the two-point try. JJ Sanders hauled in a Dodd pass at the 8:07 mark of the first stanza and scored on a 55-yard play. Dodd scored the second of his three TDs with 2:39 remaining in the first quarter on a six-yard run. Madill led 22-0. Receiver Trevor Goff took in a 16-yard pass from Dodd with 11:21 to go in the second frame. Dodd capped the Madill scoring on a 24-yard jaunt with 57 seconds left in the first half. Easterwood of Bridge Creek ran a 59-yard scoring play and a one-yard TD for the Bobcats in the fourth period for the final tally.
