The Madill girls soccer team used an Araceli Flores goal in the first minutes of the contest Tuesday against Cache to propel them to a 1-0 shut-out win over the Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night. The Lady 'Cats' Maribel Anguano did not allow a single goal to Cache.
With the scored tied 1-1 with 3.4 seconds left to play in the contest, Cache kicked in the winning goal to hand the Madill boys a 2-1 heartbreaking loss in district play Tuesday night at home. Carlos Torres kicked Madill's lone goal in the first half. The teams host Newcastle on Friday night. The girls game begins at 5 p.m.
