Holliday's Week Ends with Third-Place Finish in State Power Lifting Meet Friday

Senior power lifter Levi Holliday finished the state meet in McLoud Friday on the podium after earning third place in the 220 lb. division. It was the second straight year Holliday has qualified for the state competition. Rowdy Votaw and Gatlin Looney also qualified for the state meet. Power lifting combines the bench press, squat and dead lift manuevers in the contest. Holliday was a starter for the 2012 Madill football team as a center and linebacker. The Wildcats captured the Class 3A-4 District crown while going an undefeated 10-0 in the regular season.   Coach Young contributed to this report         Levi Holliday
