Math teacher and coach Wayne Jaggars has been selected as the high school's candidate for the teacher of the year. This is the result of a vote of the teaching staff at MHS. Jaggars will be a candidate with a selection from the middle school, elementary school and early childhood center. The Madill teacher of the year is chosen in a school-wide vote later this year.

"I am humbled and honored (by the selection)," Jaggars said.
