The Madill Lady Wildcats had three players score in double figures but the squad just came up a bit short in a 56-53 loss to Eufaula in the consolation final of the Checotah basketball tournament Saturday (Jan. 25) afternoon. The Lady 'Cats clawed their way back after facing a deficit in the first half. The Lady Ironheads were solid offensively in the first quarter and built a 12-3 advantage over Madill by the conclusion of the opening period.
