Madill battled with Atoka this evening on the softball diamond in the Calera tournament. The Lady 'Cats fell 6-3 despite holding a lead through the middle innings. A three-run fourth inning forged a 5-3 advantage for the Lady Wampuscats after Madill's Jaycee Wallace, Madison Jowers and Tori Crook scored in the bottom of the opening frame to stake Madill to the early 3-1 cushion.Lady 'Cats' Callie Gray and Cayanne Melton combined for an out at the plate in the top of the second to secure the 3-2 edge for Madill. Madi Cook and Gray both singled in the second inning, but were left stranded.Lady Wildcats' pitcher Ali Selvy singled in the third inning, but did not score.
