Madill's Haley Furr is expected to sign a letter of intent at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (March 10) in the Madill High School media center to play softball at Murray State College in Tishomingo next year. Furr is a multi-sport athlete for MHS. She has played softball and basketball for the Lady Wildcats during her entire high school career. Just this season, Furr eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in her high school hoops career and helped guide Madill to a regional consolation championship. She also has served as an MHS cheerleader. She claimed the basketball homecoming queen's crown in January. She will play in the Lake Country Conference senior basketball game in Lone Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. |
