Rainfall didn't stop the Madill girls golf team Monday as play continued in the Elgin tournament at Lake Hefner South course April18. Madi Cook led the way for the Lady 'Cats as she scored a 105 on the day. Macayla Moore completed the course with a 116. Selene Moreno carded a 120 and Madison Jowers finished with a 127. The girls golf coach is JW Parsons. The 4A Regional in Ada at Oak Hill awaits the team April 26 before the state tournament returns Lake Hefner South course in Oklahoma CityThe boys golf team was supposed to compete at Blanchard April 18. However, rain forced stoppage of play. The boys have a tournament slated April 25 at Lake Hefner's North course. They will compete in the 4A Regional in Seminole May 2 before the state tournament at the Lake Hefner North course in Oklahoma City. The boys are coached by Jason Wilkerson. |
