The Madill girls got 32 points from Kaylen Sweat and tossed in critical free throws in the game's final two minutes to clinch a 69-64 win over Bridge Creek Friday to advance into Saturday's consolation final. The boys had a reversal of fortune Friday and coasted to a 65-48 victory against Pauls Valley. They, too, have advanced to Saturday consolation final at Tuttle for a chance to play in the area tournament next week in Chickasha. The girls face Bethany at 1:30 p.m. and the boys battle Bethany at 3 p.m. in Tuttle. |
