Madill's varsity football team had its annual media/picture day Saturday morning at Blake Smiley Stadium.The squad completed a scrimmage Friday night against the Durant Lions on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University at Paul Laird Field. The Wildcats scored once and the Lions scored three times in the practice session. They open the 2016 regular season Friday (Aug. 26) at Bridge Creek. In other news from the weekend, the Madill softball team lost to Davis on Friday in the tournament and fell to Byng Saturday. The softball team returns to action Monday (Aug. 22) at Plainview before traveling Tuesday to face Marietta. The cross country team holds a practice meet in Madill Aug. 27 |
